The general public just can’t get enough of celebrities. Whether it’s the storm around their latest album with fans rushing to the shops to buy it, or queuing up overnight to get a glimpse of them walking into a television studio for an interview.

Gossip sections of the newspapers and magazines seem to take up far more space than any other news nowadays, and the majority of that is down to our insatiable appetite to know every single detail about our favourite celebrities. Who were they spotted out with this week? What were they wearing? Is she pregnant? Does he prefer McDonalds or Burger King?

While it seems that some people do know everything about their favourite celebs, many just don’t get the appeal.
