The New Nokia 6 is More Than Just an Android Smartphone
Nokia is back with a bang! The name that was once synonymous with mobile phones in the Indian market, has now come up with a new line of mobile series this time. And the first of this series will be the all new Nokia 6.
First thing first, this is not one of those another Windows based smartphones like the Lumia with Microsoft stamped on them. The Nokia 6 comes with Android based Operating System, which is a welcome surprise for all Nokia dedicated Android users.But this is just the beginning of unravelling the first phone of the new Nokia Android series.
Nokia 6 has many more surprises in store. What are they?
#1. Body Design
When you hold the device in your hand, the first thing that will remind you is Nokia’s nostalgic design philosophy that we are so familiar since back old Nokia days. You will find yourself familiar with many features. Remember the glossy rectangular block around the primary camera at the back?
Apart from that, it has a clean look and a metal body exterior that’s designed from a precision milled aluminum block.And though this is going to be available in five different colors soon, the device is available only in black edition.Together with the Corning Gorilla Glass display, the end design is pure gloss.
But the device is not just a body of design. It has a dimension of 154X 75.8 X 7.9 mm and weighs about 169 g, which makes it both easy and convenient to have a firm grip.
Last but not the least, it comes with a Dual Sim slot (Nano Sim and a dual stand-by)
#2. Display Type
The smartphone display is a multi-touch type and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that guards your screen from any harmful external damages.
Speaking of the display quality, the smartphone features a 5.5 inch full-HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 M colors and 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution. Thus promising you a highly immersive entertainment even if you are watching it on a bright day.
In addition to this, its wide viewing angle makes it easy for friends to watch together.
#3. Camera Quality
The Nokia 6 comes with a dual surprise when it comes to snapping pictures or recording videos. That’s because both the front and the rear camera allows you to take pictures and videos at full-HD resolution. Impressive right?
Speaking of the cameras, the rear camera features a 16 MP phase detection while the front camera is of 8 MP. The back camera also has a dual-tone flash that allows users to take natural-looking pictures with ease even in low light conditions.

As impressive as the design and the display, this Nokia smartphone does not fail to impress when it comes to sound quality. That’s because it comes with dual speakers and a smart amplifier with Dolby Atmos® transporting you from an ordinary moment into an extraordinary experience with its multidimensional sound and richness of depth.

The latest Android Nougat version givesaway a clean and clutter-free user experience.
However, the experience is quite different here when compared to other Android based smartphone devices. What’s unique about it? Nokia has customized the software giving it a different icon set and a different system-wide theme. In addition to this, the application drawer is to be found nowhere. That’s because Nokia has removed it from the phone.
Under the hood, the device supports the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, giving it an extended battery life and improved graphics performance.
#6. Storage Performance
This is something that concerns us all when we are looking up a new phone. It’s pleasing to learn that this one has a 3 GB Ram support.
The smartphone is available with two types of storage space. The Arte Black has an internal storage space of 43 GB2, while the rest of the colors are available with a 32 GB mass storage space that can be extended upto 128 GBᶟ using a Micro SD card.
The Price – Just as Amazing as it is!
The phone is expected to come with a price range of Rs. 16,999. Now isn’t that also a welcome surprise, after all the features that you had just heard right now? Indeed it is. Looking forward?
