Brother iPrint & Scan – Free
This App will run on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and it will require iOS 6.0 or later for smooth running. This neat little App is ideal if you are partial to the Brother family of scanners and printers. And why not? Brother has a fine reputation for quality and has been around for decades. The interface is nice and clear and providing that you have a compatible printer, the App will search for the device wirelessly and you’ll soon be up and running. As well as photo files, the App can print your .pdf files, Txt, Jpeg and .png formats. You can pull these files off your phone directory and you can even use the device to scan an image and save it to the cloud for later manipulation.
Canon Easy – PhotoPrint By Canon Inc – Free
This App will run on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and it requires iOS 5.1 or later for smooth running. Canon are one of the giants of cameras and printing devices and they have released a pretty sweet application for your iOS Smartphone. You will need the appropriate Canon printer to use this App from your Smartphone, but you will be assured of some of the best printer hardware available if you decide to acquire a Canon printer. Once you’ve installed the App you’ll be able to print away to your heart’s content. A PIXMA multifunction printer will allow you to get the most from the App and locating your printer will just take seconds using a WiFi network. You can manipulate the photo a little and the App will print up to 20 copies in a single go.
Epson iPrint By Epson – Free
This App will run on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and it requires iOS 5.0 or later for smooth running. As with the previous 2 Apps, you’ll need some Epson hardware to make this one work. But you’ll probably already have heard about how reliable Epson printers are. The App itself produces some pretty high quality photos as well as a host of other file formats. One of its rather cool features is the ability to check the printer’s ink levels remotely. Accessing your files and photos from DropBox is another groovy feature and this one pretty much ticks all of the boxes.
Each of these printer Apps has a little something that the next one doesn’t, but essentially you will probably opt for the one that matches your printer manufacturer.
